NEWS 7/04/2009 Happy fourth of July! Captain Karen began a new endeavor and opened a new bait shop! It is now headquarters for Ultimate Catch Charters, Check out the shop Here! 11/23/07 The Kingfish are here, the kingfish are here! Check out Karen’s recent coastal trip in her photo album under Scalawags 10/13/07 Karen was a guest speaker during the Ladies Let’s Go Fishing seminar series. She attended as a speaker for beginner and intermediate Blue Water fishing classes. She also had the pleasure of taking some of the ladies out for a six hour fishing trip aboard the Ultimate Catch. Barbara, from Sarasota, caught her first catch ever and all the other ladies had just as much luck; all reeling in spanish mackerel, bonita, kingfish, and barracuda! The ladies had a fantastic day learning about fishing with Captain Karen! 08/07 Karen fished The Old Salt Loop Tournament in St. Petersburg FL. She was the co-captain aboard the Barret’s boat, the BFB. They placed 2nd in the Mahi Mahi division, landing a 22.66 pound dolphin! The BFB also caught and released a 60 lb sailfish and raised a few marlin. Check out the pictures below from the tourney!
